Honest opinion. Could you see these paintings on someone's wall? I love painting wildlife but not sure if people would buy them.

Hey! Wildlife is one of the most consistently popular categories in direct-to-collector art sales, full stop. The doubt you're feeling is normal, but on this particular question the data is firmly on your side.

A few things that make wildlife art sell especially well:

- Buyers picture it immediately. Unlike abstract work where someone has to imagine the fit, wildlife paintings have a built-in "I can see that over my fireplace" factor. Room mockups showing your work on a wall will do the selling for you. If you haven't made any yet, I can put some together for you right now.

- The audience is massive and passionate. Birders, hunters, hikers, national park lovers, lodge owners, interior designers doing nature-themed spaces. These people actively search for wildlife art. They're not casual scrollers.

- Collectors in this category buy multiples. Someone who puts a deer painting in their cabin is probably coming back for more. Building an email list from your first few buyers is the single highest-leverage thing you can do.

- Custom work is your secret weapon. "I'll paint your favorite animal" or "the bird you saw on your honeymoon" turns a browser into a buyer fast.

The real question isn't whether wildlife sells. It does. The question is whether the right people are seeing yours. Want me to look through your work and figure out which piece to lead with?

I think there are people that would buy the river otter and tiger paintings; not sure about the elephants. Good luck and welcome to the community!
