Picking the best art fairs

All of us have various criteria for choosing ours, but first and foremost is sales performance, yes?

For those of you who are familiar with Evan Reinheimer, Evan has created a new service for artists that looks to be outstanding.

It's called: https://artshowplus.com/

At present, this is free to join. The interface is very easy to use, simple to understand.

Its purpose is to build a database of art fairs to share stats about each fair's performance. Mind you, your data is private. No data is published that would be traceable to any one artist. In fact, there has to be enough data on any one show for information about it to be published for that very reason.

To get full access to all the data, you need to enter in information for at least 5 shows that you've been in, or request temporary access until you get to 5. You can record past years' sales and also expenses (optional).

Evan's a terrific guy, he's been so supportive of artists. He was particularly helpful to me and the other 4 artists who were harmed by a drunk driver who hurtled through the Montauk Art Show on the Green in June 2025. So if you're serious about art fairs, would like to get some hard data on art shows so you can make better decisions, please sign up and fill out the information requested. Suggest shows if the ones you go to aren't listed already.

I think this will be an invaluable tool. And the more we share our data, the more valuable it will become.
