The flowing lines really do give that sense of movement building. I tried something similar once with watercolor, trying to catch the way light shifts across a building facade at different hours, and it's tricky to make that energy feel intentional rather than scattered. You pulled it off here. The way the vibrant parts push against the quieter spaces makes the whole piece feel alive without being overwhelming.
The colors feel alive here, like they're lit from underneath. That's what I keep coming back to, the way the vibrant tones hold the energy without needing to shout. I shoot a lot of glowing objects, and the same thing happens when the light source is doing the work: bold doesn't mean loud. This has that same warmth.
