Landscape in Progress

Description

An artist works at an easel on a colorful landscape of trees, sunlit foliage, and a quiet path. Warm greens, ochres, and reds give the painting a lively sense of changing light, while the studio setting reveals the care behind its making. This artful scene would bring a thoughtful touch to a studio, office, or living space.

Artist

Oil painter in Seattle, mostly outdoors. Landscapes painted on site in two or three hours because that is how long the light lasts. Years of studio work taught me to fuss; painting in the rain taught me to stop. Still lose paintings to weather regularly.
