Goldwashed Waterway

Description

This abstract landscape painting layers rich greens with touches of gold, blue, and violet to suggest rolling terrain beside a quiet waterway. Textured canvas and varied brushwork give the scene depth and movement. Its natural palette brings a calm, artistic accent to a living room, office, or reading nook.

Artist

Oil painter in Seattle, mostly outdoors. Landscapes painted on site in two or three hours because that is how long the light lasts. Years of studio work taught me to fuss; painting in the rain taught me to stop. Still lose paintings to weather regularly.
