Description
Flickering Escape Dark, sooty tree trunks cut through a forest that glows in yellowish-pink light. Between them a herd of wild boars passes by: ghost-like, hurried, and barely tangible. They resemble beings fleeing from an invisible fire—or the last traces of light after a catastrophe. The rough, flickering surface of the image blurs the boundary between forest, smoke and movement. Thus the burning forest becomes the symbol of a threatened habitat, and flight becomes an existential movement: away from danger, into the unknown.
