Threaded Signal is the quieter twin—but it carries a sharper transmission. A central vertical form suggests a face without declaring itself: a profile implied through layered rust, wine, and veil-thin transfers, stitched by tiny points of high color like pinned coordinates. To the right, a pale stenciled glyph (half-letter, half-echo) hangs in a deep teal register—like sound catching on a wall and repeating itself back. The yellow base band reads as a footer, a grounded “held note,” while the ash splatter and corner ticks keep the work in the language of printmaking: alignment, repetition, residue. It’s less about what’s said than what’s picked up—a signal carried forward by friction and touch.
